The update allows individuals to manage and preserve their Recall data more securely, addressing privacy concerns tied to the tool’s automatic screen capture function. The export option requires users to set a recovery key. Without this code, users cannot access the exported snapshots, which will become permanently inaccessible if the key is lost. This added layer of encryption strengthens data security but also increases user responsibility.
