Mainline Health Breach Hits 100,000 in Ransom Attack
Mainline Health Systems, a nonprofit health provider in Southeast Arkansas, disclosed a cybersecurity incident that compromised the personal data of 101,104 individuals. The Mainline Health breach occurred on or around April 10, 2024, and targeted the organization’s network infrastructure. The company operates over 30 facilities, including school-based clinics and community health centers.
Following the breach, Mainline Health launched an internal probe, enlisted external cybersecurity experts, and notified federal authorities. On May 21, 2025, the investigation revealed that unauthorized parties accessed files containing protected personal information. The Mainline Health breach was later linked to the ransomware group Inc Ransom, which added the provider to its leak site on the dark web.
Inc Ransom, active since 2023, has claimed attacks on multiple high-profile organizations, including Scotland’s NHS and Xerox Corp. Mainline Health has not disclosed what specific data was stolen.
